Hi there! I’m Tracy Sylvia. I live in Dedham, Massachusetts with my husband and two guinea pigs. I love travel, planning, learning, and fun. When you mix all of that together, I can promise it makes for one great Travel Advisor!
Disney Destinations and Universal Parks Expert
I have been visiting Disney World my whole life and visit a few times a year as an Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Member. I have honed my Disney vacation planning skills over the years and always keep up to date with the latest changes. I was so excited to attain my first certificate of completion from the College of Disney Knowledge in 2023 and dive deeper into some of Disney's other amazing destinations, tour options, and cruises.
Theme parks can offer a magical escape from the everyday with thrilling rides, immersive theming, spectacular shows and of course, quality family time! Having spent 14 years as an educator and tour guide in the museum field, I have always championed learning through fun: one thing I love about the Disney parks is that they inspire visitors of all ages to be creative, to engineer (or "imagineer") new ways to problem-solve, to conserve our natural resources and protect the animal kingdom, and to get a taste of other cultures from around the world.
While I didn't start visiting the Universal Parks and Resorts until later in life, they have quickly become another favorite of mine! Some of my most memorable visits have been during Universal's special seasonal offerings - like the Holiday Parade, Mardi Gras celebration, and of course, Halloween Horror Nights! I'm so excited to share all my advice for making the most of these great events.
United Kingdom and European Travel Specialist
With a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies and a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies, I spent 14 years working in various museums and historic sites as an educator, tour guide, event planner and exhibit developer. I studied in Luxembourg, lived in London for several months while interning at the British Museum, participated in archaeological excavations in Northumberland and have traveled extensively all over Europe. Now, I am putting my wide array of experiences to use planning vacations that focus on authentic cultural experiences and history. I am passionate about learning from the past, connecting with the world around us, and engaging with cultures from across the globe. How Can I Help You
When you choose to plan and book your vacation with me, there is no additional cost to you. Travel advisors receive commission from the companies you book with, so there is no need to charge you a fee directly. Because I work with many different suppliers, I don’t need to try and “sell you” on a vacation that doesn’t fit your budget or style - I work for you, not for one particular theme park, hotel or brand, so I will always try to get you the best deal. My goal is for you to have the best experience possible so you’ll book with me for all your travel needs!
Since Key to the World Travel is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and “U-Preferred” with Universal, we always have the most up-to-date information about park policies, deals, schedules, closures, events and so on. No need for you to spend hours on the phone or the web looking for answers: just ask me, and I can use our vast resource library, dedicated park phone lines, and personal experience to get you the information you need as quickly as possible. Want to book a dining reservation or snag a special event ticket? I’ll be the one up at 6am 60 days before your visit to make sure you’ll have breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table on your trip.
I love creating detailed travel itineraries. Want a minute by minute schedule? No problem. Prefer to keep things open and just have some general recommendations and touring plans? You’ve got it. Going to Europe on a budget and worried about how to get around? I’ll give you turn by turn walking directions and public transportation information. Want to know what the best restaurants are near your hotel? I’ll research several options for you. Want to see all the city’s highlights? I can find you the best tour package. Trying to find a way to get the most authentic experience abroad? I can help you plan an independent trip complete with tours and experiences led by locals. Never been on a cruise before? I’ll make sure you have everything you need.
You won’t need to worry about missing booking windows, payment deadlines, or sales promotions. I will be there to remind you of any upcoming milestones, update you with any developments, and guide you through the entire process. You can be involved in the planning as much or as little as you like. I’ll be there to make sure you’re completely prepared for your vacation. Then, while you’re travelling, you can contact me with any issues that arise. If things don’t go to plan, you can continue enjoying your vacation while I work to sort things out.
